Quinn helped me do dishes tonight and was wrapping the towel around objects and signing into them like a mic. It was pretty cute, so I had to try to film her while she wasn’t paying attention. Click the photo to play the video.

Finnegan ran 18 laps at his second jog-a-thon. He had a great time and did better than he thought. Thanks to everyone who cheered him on, and for the sponsors. We’re so lucky to be in such a wonderful school district.

Finnegan’s school is doing their annual jog-a-thon fund raiser. Last year he surprised me and ran 12 laps, this year he said his goal is 17! We made a little video pitching the event, but he seems more interested in winning the top prize for the most money raised, a mini freezer. I guess a seven-year-old would find that exciting.
Anyway take a peek at our video, and of course, no pressure to pledge.

Vido was wondering why I didn’t use his receipe, while, because it’s his! I found this one and used turkey meat and sausage. Quinn helped me make it and called it Garfield’s favorite dish. Finnegan already decided he didn’t like it because he had a odd veggie lasagna at the Boys and Girls club. He was Quick to remind me. We’ll I thought it was good, took some effort, but the site includes step by step picts! I always wondered what you did with the noodle gaps. Now I know!

Quinn’s class had a field trip for the five-year-olds. We got to go whale watching out of Dana Point, and we even saw whales! The kids of course like the dolphins the best. Overall, it was a very successful trip. Take a peek at the video and picts below.
