For father’s day Vido go new surf booties, he doesn’t surf but wanted them for our off-road tri that we are doing in Tahoe next week. He also requested a broom, and a bbq grill scraper thingy.
I also made him this video. Enjoy.

We had some friends over for dinner and they brought these for dessert. They are rich but wonderful.
Enjoy.

Vido always asks what I want to do, and I have answered the same three years in a row. Go surfing. So that’s what I did with my friend, Mary jo. Surf wasn’t great, but the water has warmed up and as always, it’s great to get in the water and paddle and hopefully catch a few waves and not get pummeled by a ramdon rouge outside set.
After surfing we hit Fisherman’s warf and had breakfast.
When I got home the kids made jell-o with strawberries and marshmellows and cup cakes with green sprinkles, since green is my favorite. They also made cards and picked up a giant balloon at the store.
What a day!

Quinn took her first dance class with friends from Montessori, Emma, Merille, and Nina. It was a ballet, tap combo. The group did a little performance for us for the last class. Afterwards we went to the local bakery for a treat.
A BIG thanks to Pat, Jean and Kay for being the drivers in our little car pool. Really, I owe you guys.

We had a picture perfect Easter. We went to church in the morning, and came home and had a “hunt with the Harts and Anne, Felix and the girls. I think everyone had a great time.

One of our friends invited us to a easter egg hunt. The kids were so excited about hunting for candy-filled eggs, that they practiced. They hid things in the yard and then went and found them. Of course the real thing was much more enjoyable. Big thank you to Jean for inviting us.

Finnegan completed 12 laps at his school’s jog-a-thon. He raised $60, $10 came from the lemonade stand that we had. Thanks to all who sponsored him. He was very excited to have collected enough money for his school to earn a small prize.
The best part for him of course was the popcicle and going home with mom instead of on the bus.

Finnegan and Quinn have wanted to have a lemonade stand for a while, and Finn is also raising money for a jog-a-thon for his school, so we did a combo effort. Have a lemonade stand and the money goes to his school! My sister and brother-in-law, Valerie and Richard, have one of the best lemon trees, and brought us a box full of beautiful lemons! So Quinn squeezed the lemons and Finnengan worked on the sign. We pulled our little red wagon up to the high school where a water polo match was in progress and set up shop. With only a few hours of effort we raised $10! Woo Hoo!
